Bonnie McMurray is a recurring character on Letterkenny, played by Kamilla Kowal.

"Hi, Wayne." — Bonnie

Biography[]

Bonnie is the younger sister of McMurray. McMurray often suggests to Wayne that she and Wayne would make a good pair. Bonnie is herself attracted to Wayne, and mentions that she wished she could have a dance with him when watching him and Angie dance. When home from school she worked as a cashier at the dollar store, and tells him to take ice without paying. When Wayne and Katy hold interviews to see the best way to spend their inheritance from Uncle Eddie, she narrates each contender unbidden (Uncle Eddie's Trust). Wayne is discomfited, however, given their age difference (The Battle for Bonnie McMurray).

She has an unpleasant run-in with the Skids, who "crop dust" the dollar store (The Election). When MoDean's II opens, she gets a job there as a waitress, alongside Glen (MoDeans 2).

After MoDean's II burns down, she becomes a waitress at the Letterkenny Ukrainian Centre, and is often seen there. After MoDean's 3 opens, she works there as a bartender, where her jealousy over Wayne leads her to make inhospitable comments about Marie-Fred (What Could Be So Urgent?).

She also takes simultaneous employment at the opening day of the "Breastaurant".

Despite being an object of desire for her physical beauty she is still well liked and respected for work in many in many community & charity causes (The Haunting of MoDean's II).

Relationships[]

Bonnie is desired by many in Letterkenny, including Daryl, Dan, and Katy, who barely concealed their interest when all attended a hot tub party at the McMurrays' home.

Some unwanted attention

She chose not to get involved with any of them, preferring to play the field (The Battle for Bonnie McMurray). Nevertheless, all of the Hicks are driven wild by her provocative dress (St. Perfect's Day).

Ironically Wayne, the one person she is actually attracted to, is the one person who is NOT attracted to her due to her age.

Bonnie has a serious crush on Wayne and is known for only responding to Wayne in the room with her signature "Hi Wayne" Wayne does not reciprocate her crush because of her age and is quite possibly in denial of the meaning behind of her filtrations gestures. He often responds to her in an adult, almost brotherly, manner.

In fact during "The Battle for Bonnie MacMurray" he was visibly uncomfortable at the thought of her in a sexual manner, and confused at the others attraction towards her.

Like Katy, she is the subject of unwanted attention from the citdiots at Ron and Dax's wedding, resolved only after the Hicks fight them in their hotel room (We Don't Fight at Weddings).
