Rosie is a recurring character on Letterkenny in season 2–5 and 8, played by Clark Backo.
Biography[edit | edit source]
Rosie is Gail's cousin from Tobermory. She drives down to the farm at Gail's behest to see if Wayne's German Shepherd Stormy will take her dog as a stud. Wayne is taken by her, though his romantic situation is complicated with the sudden re-emergence of Angie and Tanis calling to inform him she is pregnant ("Finding Stormy a Stud").
She enjoys reading, and sometimes prefers to stay at home reading a book than to spend time with a beau, which has complicated her romantic life. She and Wayne begin to date, but she misses various social occasions, such as the McMurrays' hot tub party ("The Letterkenny Leave"). Their relationship faces its greatest challenge when her favorite cousin Bradley, exasperated by the drunk Hicks, punches out Dan and Daryl, prompting Wayne to fight in their defense despite her pleas ("Bradley Is a Killer"). Fortunately, there are no hard feelings after the fight, and the three are all reconciled after a phone call ("Never Work a Day in Your Life").
At the Great Day for Thunder Bay party celebrating a visit by the Bay brothers, Wayne resists an invitation from Tanis for a tryst in the barn, and instead drives over to Rosie's. She informs him, however, that she plans to move to Vancouver to work in pit bull rescue, and the couple part ways amicably.
Rosie later returns in Season 8 following Wayne's breakup with Marie-Fred, and the two eventually resume their relationship.
