The Letterkenny holiday specials are episodes themed around the observance of a particular holiday or festival. They are not enumerated as part of the season, but they have been bundled with the preceding season for the DVD releases as well as streaming on Hulu.

Bell Media announced on January 19, 2017 that the first special would be released on St. Patrick's Day that year, March 17, 2017. Season 2 had just been released on Christmas 2016, and the announcement came as a surprise to fans. After that, a holiday special aired after each season, making five in all as of October 2019. There was no holiday special aired between Season 7 and Season 8, the latter of which ran for seven regular episodes.

Each holiday special has focused on a different observance, and followed a different narrative structure. They are largely self-contained in terms of plot, and do not address major developments in the previous season (for example, Tanis's pregnancy, or Stewart going to rehab). The most common thread among them is that Wayne complains that the North American celebration has lost sense of the original meaning of the holiday, leading Katy to call him a poopy-pants. The sole exception to that has been The Three Wise Men, to the Hicks' relief, as Wayne declares

I to the fuckin' love Christmas — Wayne
